On December 20, in Minsk Oblast Executive Committee, a meeting was held between the Chairman of the Oblast Executive Committee Alexander Turchin and famous people of the region who made a significant contribution to its development. Among them are Honorary Citizens of Oblast Minsk Region.
The meeting was attended by the Assistant to the President of the Republic of Belarus - Inspector for Minsk Oblast Igor Evseev.
“You are famous people, outstanding personalities who have made a significant contribution to the development of the region and the republic,” said Alexander Turchin, Chairman of the Oblast Executive Committee, welcoming the guests. - We are well aware of the way you have worked, how much you have done for the good of your native land. And, believe me, we have deep respect and appreciation for the achievements that the Central Region has achieved thanks to you.

The meeting participants frankly talked with the head of Minsk Oblast, discussed regional development plans, the path along which he follows, based on the transferred experience. It was obvious that those gathered were not indifferent to the fate of Minsk Oblast.
“I am proud that Minsk Oblast is flourishing,” said Olga Dargel, who held the post of Minister of Social Protection of the Republic of Belarus from 1994 to 2001, and from 1984 to 1994 she worked as deputy chairman of Minsk Oblast Executive Committee. - Colleagues worthy continue our traditions, cope with the tasks.

Boris Batura, who headed Minsk Oblast Executive Committee from 2010 to 2013, noted that this form of work - meeting with former leaders - first appeared in the Minsk region. And now it is productive, because such people have their own vision for the development of the region, and they are ready to help, to contribute to the good of their native land even now.
The meeting participants were able to see the work of the leading enterprises of Minsk Oblast, get acquainted with the production, conditions created for workers. They visited the production workshops and showroom of CJSC BELGEE, PUE Ozeretsky-Agro.

And since the meeting took place on the eve of the New Year and Christmas, there were many congratulations on these wonderful holidays, which symbolize the beginning of all the best. Warm words sounded to Minsk Oblast, the native land.
