The traffic police reminded that the arsenal of the traffic police has a special device called ParkRight. It helps to fix in an automatic mode violations of the rules of stopping and parking, as well as travel on dedicated lanes for public transport.
"Employees of the capital's traffic police are aimed at using the device to record traffic violations near pedestrian crossings - the main focus will be on the illegal parking of vehicles, including freight vehicles," the traffic police informed. This is done to prevent accidents involving pedestrians - vehicles parked not according to the rules interfere with the review and can cause a collision with a person.
The ParkRight complex is installed in the salons of official vehicles of the State Automobile Inspectorate; it captures license plates. Cars with the device drive in the same place twice. When re-traveling, the data is sent to the database, the information then goes to the structure of the traffic police, which will prepare decisions on fines. After that, letters are sent to violators. The penalty for violation of parking and parking rules is one base amount (now 1 BV - Br27).
