Belarus to raise export duties on oil, oil products on 1 November

31.10.2019

On 1 November 2019, Belarus will raise export duties on oil and oil products that are exported outside the customs territory of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU). The decision is laid down by the Council of Ministers' resolution No.727 of 29 October 2019, BelTA learned from the website of the Belarusian government.

The export duty on crude oil will go up from $87.2 to $88.3 per tonne.

The duty on straight-run gasoline will increase from $47.9 to $48.5 per tonne.

The commercial gasoline duty will climb from $26.1 to $26.4 per tonne. The same rate will be applied to light and medium distillates, diesel fuel, benzene, toluene, xylene, lubricants, and other oils.

The export duties on crude oil and some categories of derivative oil products were previously revised downwards on 1 October 2019.
