MINSK, 8 December (BelTA) – A big German investor is ready to finance the construction of ten biogas plants in the Minsk oblast, Andrei Minenkov, an official of the energy efficiency department of the Belarus State Standardization Committee, told reporters in Minsk on 8 December. The relative agreements have been already signed with some agricultural companies of the Minsk region. The first two biogas plants are expected to be launched next year already. According to Andrei Minenkov, the Belarusian side is also negotiating with the other investors who are interested in innovation projects on energy efficiency and energy saving in the animal production industry.
