Belarus ranked 13th out of 172 countries in Postal Development Report

The Postal Development Report 2022 prepared by the Universal Postal Union (UPU) placed Belarus on the 13th position out of 172 countries with a total score of 75.10. This is one position up compared to the previous year, when Belarus scored 67.4 points and placed 14th among 168 countries, BelTA learned from the press service of the Ministry of Communications and Informatization of Belarus.

Belarusian scientists no longer rely only on state budget, encouraged to earn money

The National Academy of Sciences of Belarus is no longer funded only by the state budget. R&D products of Belarusian scientists allow earning money among other things. Chairman of the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus Vladimir Gusakov made the statement as he met with Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko, BelTA has learned.

Belarusian army units at peacetime strength at heart of regional force grouping

Belarus is one of the few pockets of peace left in Europe. State Secretary of the Security Council of Belarus Aleksandr Volfovich made the statement as he met with workers of the Minsk-based tractor factory MTZ, BelTA has learned.
