In 2019, more than 73,000 Belarusian rubles were allocated for the implementation of youth initiatives and events for this category of citizens from the budget of the Minsk region. Such data in her speech at the seminar-board of the main department of ideological work, culture and youth affairs of the regional executive committee was voiced by the chief specialist of the ideological work and youth affairs department Violetta Kravtsova.
She also outlined the areas where more attention should be paid. Among them are the search for new forms of work on the organization of interactive platforms, the development of a set of measures to attract young people to a healthy lifestyle, and others.
Much attention was paid to the secondary employment of youth. This year, about 18.000 people took the opportunity to find a job in the summer. One of the areas is student groups, of which 275 were formed this year. However, in 2019, the total number of people who worked in youth groups was 3,236, and in 2018 - 3,598. Also, 626 were formed in the region volunteer units. This year, a regional youth construction took place in Borisov, in which 3 detachments with a total of 30 people worked. In 2020, they plan to increase this figure.
Among the events that received a special response from young people, one can note the Cup of the Governor of Minsk Oblast in KVN, which was held in Soligorsk. The board made a proposal next year to form the League of the Minsk Region for KVN, in which the winners of the regional humorous contests will participate. Another project that they plan to implement on a larger scale is the competition “Leader of the Year of the Minsk Region”. It will be phased throughout the year.
