In line with the Belarusian legislation funds need state registration. The organization of a voluntary fund that has not been duly registered or participation in the operation of such a fund is illegal and may result in administrative sanctions.
The Justice Ministry pointed out that the funds that raise money for these purposes have not been registered in the country. Such funds operate outside the law and lack sufficient tools to control the distribution of the raised funds, which may encourage unlawful enrichment of the people directly involved in the process of raising money for the funds.
