Belarus approves list of urban development projects for 2021

MINSK, 18 November (BelTA) - The Council of Ministers issued Resolution No.649 of on 16 November 2020 to approve a list of urban planning projects to be developed in 2021. The document was officially published on the National Legal Internet portal on 18 November, BelTA has learned.

The list includes 24 urban development projects. Four projects will be developed for Brest Oblast and Vitebsk Oblast, three for Gomel Oblast and Mogilev Oblast each. Five projects are planned for Grodno Oblast and Minsk Oblast each.

The general layout plans of such cities as Baranovichi, Vitebsk, Novopolotsk, Gomel, Mogilev and the satellite town of Zhabinka will be developed next year.

In addition, the general layout plans will be devised for the tourist-recreational park Braslavsky, the Novoyelnya resort of national importance, Vileika and Chigirinka recreation areas of national importance.

Plans are in place to draw up a number of plans of comprehensive territorial development of different regions of Belarus, a detailed plan of the historical center of Mozyr coupled with a project of regeneration of historical buildings and detailed plans for other sites.
