This opinion was expressed today by the first deputy chairman of Minsk Oblast Executive Committee Sergei Levkovich at the regional meeting of delegates of the VI All-Belarusian People's Assembly from Minsk region, which took place in Borisov, BelTA has learned.
"Over the past five years, the Minsk region has made significant progress in development. The results are encouraging. The volume of the gross regional product has increased by more than 11% over five years. This indicator is the highest among all regions of the country. The growth rate of industrial production was 122%, agriculture - 118%, retail turnover - 129%, export of goods - 130%," said Sergey Levkovich." All the results that have been achieved over the past years will become a solid foundation for planning and solving new, no less ambitious tasks during the next five years. there are all the resources - material and technical, labor, financial, intellectual, so that together, by common labor, increase the well-being of the inhabitants of the region and the entire Belarusian people."
Behind all the indicators, built houses and efficient enterprises is the work of many people, including ordinary workers, specialists, managers. "It is they who ensure the economic and food security of the country, contribute to its progressive development. Among them are the delegates, with whom we have to give an objective assessment of what has been done over the past period, to determine the priorities and main directions of development for the next 5 years," said Sergei Levkovich.
