In a few months, the satellite town of Zaslavl will become the capital of the regional festival-fair of rural workers «Dazhynki». There is still a lot of work ahead, but the city’s residents will be pleased with the result. This was stated by the Chairman of the Minsk Regional Executive Committee Alexey Kushnarenko during an inspection of the sites where the most extensive work is planned.
— The glorious city of Zaslavl received the right to be the temporary capital of the Minsk Region, plus it is hosting the regional festival-fair «Dazhynki-2025», — said Alexey Kushnarenko. — It is also symbolic that Zaslavl is celebrating its anniversary this year, 1040 years. Therefore, we will do everything to ensure that the grain growers’ holiday is held with dignity and there is an appropriate infrastructure: socio-historical, cultural, both for the residents of Zaslavl and for the guests of this glorious historical city.
According to the governor, a corresponding program of events to prepare for the festival-fair has been developed.
— I will not reveal all the secrets, but I want to note that we have plans to develop a youth park, and begin construction of a sports and recreation center. We will also continue construction of a polyclinic. We know the residents are concerned about the landfill located here and will make an appropriate decision on its further operation. In general, every corner of the city will be in our area of attention. I am confident that with our joint help and support, Zaslavl will meet this holiday with dignity, — summarized Alexey Kushnarenko
