Residents of Minsk and Gomel regions supported the action most actively.
By the way, we have already summed up the green campaign. In total, more than 40 thousand volunteers across the country took part in the cleaning: volunteers, heads of ministries and departments. Over 3,500 cubic meters of garbage were removed. And, in addition to landscaping and putting things in order in the forests, on the personal plots and along the road territories, the participants planted more than a thousand hectares of forest crops, which is 1.3 million trees. We also paid special attention to places of mass recreation and memorial sites. Now it remains to keep the forest clean.
Recall that the campaign "Clean Forest" takes place in the country for the 9th consecutive year. This year, the most hardworking participants were awarded gift certificates from the Ministry of Forestry.
