Zhodino-based Belarusian Autoworks (BelAZ trademark) expects to establish new business ties with Russian companies during the 10th All-Russia Forum Goszakaz-2014 in April, BelTA learnt from the enterprise. “BelAZ is interested in the forum as it opens new opportunities for our company in the Russian market and helps establish business relations, first of all, with mining enterprises planning to purchase quarry vehicles and equipment,” the Belarusian plant said. It is important for BelAZ to attend the forum to study the specific character of the present-day Russian market. The All-Russian Forum Goszakaz is an annual expo featuring goods and services that can be purchased by the Russian Federation for state and municipal needs. The forum will be held at the International Crocus Expo Center in Moscow on 23-25 April. Founded in September 1948, the Zhodino-based mechanical engineering company Belarusian Autoworks was incorporated into a joint-stock company in 2010. As of October 2012, the Belarusian Autoworks is the management company of the BelAZ holding company. It offers rock haulers, frontal wheeled loaders and bulldozers, tow trucks, special vehicles for underground operations, heavy-duty trucks for metallurgy industry, and other specialized vehicles. BelAZ accounts for a third of the global market of rock haulers.
