As a result, were destroyed five enemy tanks , about thirty were forced to retreat. Nicholay Leshenko within days held abroad and gave break enemy. September 25, 1944 by the Decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR for this feat Nicholas Leshenko was rewarded the Gold Star of the Hero of the Soviet Union. He became the first honorary citizen Nesvizh.
