In Borisov district on November 28 will be held events dedicated to 202 th anniversary of the crossing in November 1812 Napoleon's army across the Berezina. BelTA was told in the French Embassy in Belarus, which organizes these memorable events.
The official ceremony will begin with the laying of wreaths at the memorial monument and the collective graves of French soldiers in the cemetery of the village of Studenka in the Borisov region, on the left bank of the Berezina. Then the participants are planning to visit a monument to "victims of war", built with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Switzerland (the village of Studenka). They also visited the burial sites on Brilevskoe field near the village of Veselovo on the right bank of the Berezina.
