Chairman of the Minsk Oblast Executive Committee Semyon Shapiro demanded that in the region the high quality of construction works. Such an order he gave on November 27 meeting of the Executive Committee, which considered the results of socio-economic development of the region in the first nine months of this year, BelTA has learned.
"It's not just about housing, but about building complex as a whole", - said Semyon Shapiro. He said that based on this information will assess leading cadres of the construction industry. "It's a matter of principle. We see the problem, but at the same staffing proposals are not made, and it's amazing," - he said.
Deputy Chairman of Minsk Oblast Executive Committee Sergei Nevmerzhitskiy in the region for the first nine months commissioned 968.2 thousand sq. M of housing. This is 88% of the annual plan (1.1 million sq ft). "For citizens who are registered in need of better housing conditions, commissioned 503.8 thousand sq. M, it is 52% of the total volume of housing. Thus, we have carried out an annual rate of 500 thousand sq. M in the first nine months," - he said. With government support built 464.1 thousand sq. M, or 92.1% of total housing put into operation for the needy citizens. In rural areas and small towns surrendered 757.9 thousand sq. M of housing.
