More than 100 volunteers from 10 countries will become students of the International School for Emergency Situations of the Belarusian Red Cross Society More than 100 volunteers from 10 countries will become students of the International School for Emergency Situations of the Belarusian Red Cross Society. BelTA learned from chief specialist of Public Relations and Mass Media of the Belarusian Red Cross (BRC) Marina Trebuhina. The training events will be attended by more than 100 Belarusian and foreign volunteers, including 40 people - representatives of the Lithuanian, Latvian, Ukrainian, Danish, Bulgarian, Norwegian Red Cross, Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan Red Crescent Society and the Israeli Red Shield of David. The main tasks of the school - the acquisition of knowledge and development of skills needed to respond to different types of emergencies, the interaction with other services, as well as questions of internal and external communication in emergencies. The examination will be conducted by specialists of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Minsk regional, Minsk city, Grodno Regional Offices of Emergency, National Emergency Situations Ministry special forces. Inauguration of the IV International School of Emergency Situations held on September 26 in the Volozhin district in a recreation center "Galaxy". The first day of school volunteers made presentations of their activities, and also held workshops on best practices, which they use in their work. 27 and 28 September Bock trainers will train volunteers in areas such as psychological aid in emergency first aid, radio fundamentals, particularly search and rescue activities, international humanitarian law, training of search and rescue dogs. Scheduled leadership course with experts MOE. Volunteers prepare for field exercises, which will be held September 29 and 30. The exercise will be modeled more than 17 different emergency situations of natural and man-made, which will allow teams to work obtained skills. The school is supported by the International Committee of the Red Cross, the Ministry of Emergency Situations and the Minsk Oblast Executive Committee.
