Gustik 2nd, Romanovskaya 3rd at FIS Freestyle Ski World Cup in Raubichi

Belarus clinched two medals at the final FIS Freestyle Ski World Cup in Raibuchi, BelTA informs.
Maksim Gustik of Belarus finished second, while Alexandra Romanovskaya ranked third in the overall standings.
Ashley Caldwell of the United States won gold with 103.27 points in the women's event. Second was Australia's Danielle Scott with 96.93 points. Alexandra Romanovskaya finished third with 80.33 points. Fourth was Belarus' Anna Guskova (75.11 points).
After the awards ceremony bronze medalist Alexandra Romanovskaya said she did not expect such a high result.
In the men's event Christopher Lillis of the United States clinched gold with 111.78 points. Belarus' Maksim Gustik scored 109.50 points to finish second. Bronze went to Ilya Burov of Russia (104.07 points). Belarus' Stanislav Gladchenko was fourth with 83.02 points.
It was the second medal at the 2015/16 FIS Freestyle Ski World Cup for Maksim Gustik. Earlier, the Belarusian celebrated a victory in Beijing.
The men's FIS Freestyle Ski World Cup standings were topped by Alexander Abramenko of Ukraine (310 points). Maksim Gustik was second with 276 points. Third was Piotr Medulich of Russia (244 points). In the women's overall standings the Big Crystal Globe went to Ashley Caldwell of the United States (409 points). Australia's Danielle Scott finished second with 325 points. Russia's Alina Gridneva ranked third with 247 points. Belarus' Alexandra Romanovskaya finished 9th with 206 points. Anna Guskova finished the season in the 11th with 190 points.
