Belarus prime minister to oversee BelGee car assembly project

The list of projects personally supervised by members of the central government has been revised
Prime Minister of Belarus Andrei Kobyakov will oversee the project that SZAO BelGee is implementing to set up a car assembly facility, the press service of the Belarus government told BelTA.
The list of projects personally supervised by members of the central government has been revised. According to the source, the list has been revised due to personnel appointments, the completion of individual investment projects, the termination of investment agreements, changes in the names of projects and organizations and project implementation deadlines. The list includes a total of 55 investment projects.
First Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Vasily Matyushevsky will be in charge of overseeing Reb Pharma Company's project for making pharmaceutical products in the town of Smilovichi, Cherven District. Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Vladimir Semashko will continue overseeing the construction of the nuclear power plant. Deputy Prime Minister Anatoly Kalinin is now in charge of keeping an eye on the project for the comprehensive development of Orsha Aircraft Repair Plant, including retooling and efforts to increase the company's workload. Deputy Prime Minister Mikhail Rusy is in charge of overseeing the construction of a vertically integrated complex for making poultry meat products in Lida District, Grodno Oblast. Deputy Prime Minister Natalya Kochanova will oversee the modernization of the reactor unit and a reconditioned gasoline unit in SOOO LKK-Naftan.
Major investment projects have been assigned to every minister, oblast governors, the Minsk mayor, heads of state committees and concerns.
Most of the projects on the list provide for attracting foreign direct investments.
