Minsk region and South Sinai Governorate of Egypt have developed a road map for the development of cooperation, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Embassy in Egypt.
The embassy told that on December 27-29 at the invitation of Governor Khaled foods Sedik working visit of the delegation of the Minsk oblast in South Sinai.
During the visit, held talks and thematic round table discussions between representatives of the Minsk regional executive committee and regional enterprises with the administration and influential businessmen Governorship. The sides discussed prospects of cooperation in the field of industry, agriculture, water resources, development and mining, trade and tourism.
The Egyptian side expressed interest in using Belarusian technologies in drilling wells and fresh water production and technology, in particular the production of "BelAZ".
At the end of the visit a program of joint actions for the implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Minsk oblast and South Sinai Governorate Arab Republic of Egypt on cooperation in trade-economic and socio-cultural fields in the years 2017-2018
