Over 2016 in the Minsk region in the real economy (except banks),
foreign investors have invested $ 814.4 million, BelTA learned from the
Central Statistical Office in the region.
The major investors of the field organizations were subjects of
Russian entities (39% of all investments), China (17.1%), Cyprus
(13,1%).
Foreign direct investment totaled $ 538.4 million, or 66.1% of the total volume.
With regard to investment from abroad, Minsk region, over 2016
organizations in the region (excluding banks) allocated for this purpose
funds in the amount of $ 487.8 million. Significant amounts of
investment organizations of the region were sent to Russian economic
entities (82.5%) , Singapore (7.3%), Ukraine (6.8%). The share of direct
investment accounted for 99.99% of all intended investments abroad.
