Minsk region health camps will be ready to receive children from the
first days of June, BelTA learned from the Republican Center for
Sanitation and Health Resort Treatment.
According to experts, special attention is paid to the timely
and qualitative preparation of camps for the summer health season -
sanitary and hygienic standards, safety and fire safety requirements
must be fully observed.
For the preparation of health camps in the Minsk region by the
summer season, the representation of the Minsk regional administration
of the Republican Center for Health Improvement and Sanatorium and Spa
Treatment of the Population is allocated Br72 thousand. Staff are being
recruited for all types of camps and teachers are being trained for
work. All health camps will be provided with methodical recommendations
on health improvement of schoolchildren.
53 620 children (37.6% of the total number of students) are
planning to improve their health in the Minsk region during the summer
holidays, of which 21 835 - in camps with round the clock stay, 31 785 -
in camps with a day stay.
The regional health campaign of 2017 will be held during the
republican action "Summer - time of discovery". The main goal of the
action is to organize health improvement and employment of minors of
different age groups, to maximize the summer time for the development of
the personality of children, their abilities and opportunities. In the
districts of the Minsk region, work will be organized for sports camps,
profile camps with a linguistic bias, tourism and local lore studies,
for highly motivated children, military patriotic, labor and recreation,
as well as tent camps.
