Festive fireworks on May 9 will be given in 8 regional centers of
the metropolitan area. Such information is posted on the website of the
Minsk Regional Executive Committee, BelTA informs.
Previously, all the salute, which will begin at 21.00, will see
the inhabitants of Smolevichi. At 21.45 the baton will take Cherven. At
22.00 bright flashes will illuminate the sky over Soligorsk, Luban,
Krupki and Uzda. Krupok also expects a laser show. At 22.40 fireworks
will begin in Logoisk, at 23.00 - in Kopyl.
The leadership of the remaining districts of the Minsk region
decided to abandon the traditional end of the celebration with fireworks
and to direct financial resources for landscaping.
As it was reported, the central event for the Victory Day in the
Minsk region will be held on the Glory Hill on May 6. On a festive day,
on May 9, in Molodechno, an action of remembrance "Belarus Remembers"
will take place. Residents of the district center and the district will
pass from the central square of the city to the mass grave with
portraits of the dead soldiers and retired veterans of the Great
Patriotic War. Such an event became traditional and will be held in
Molodechno for the third time.
Plans of events dedicated to the celebration of the anniversary
of the Great Victory are approved in every district of the central
region and in Zhodzina. In honor of the significant date, rallies will
take place with the participation of veterans, laying flowers at
monuments to soldiers and military graves, solemn evenings, festive
concerts, actions.
