The number of unprofitable organizations in the Minsk region
declined by more than 25% in the first quarter of 2017, BelTA learned
from the Economy Committee of the Minsk Regional Executive Committee.
315 organizations of the region worked with losses for January-March,
"the committee noted." Compared to the same period in 2016, the number
of unprofitable organizations decreased by 108 units, or by 25.5%. "
According to experts, among the organizations of republican
subordination the number of unprofitable decreased from 214 to 140,
communal subordination - from 93 to 79, without departmental
subordination - from 116 to 96. During this period, the number of
unprofitable enterprises in agriculture decreased (by 67 units ), In
industry (at 21). With respect to each unprofitable organization,
measures are taken to deduce to profitable work with the application of
pre-judicial rehabilitation measures.
According to monitoring data, the decrease in the cost of
production (works, services) was observed in the organizations of the
holding "Myasomolprom" (minus 5.5%), the Housing and Communal Services
of the Minsk Region (minus 7%), in many Transport and construction
organizations, service organizations, agriculture, as well as flax
factories.
The Economic Committee also told that according to the results
of the first quarter the profitability of the sold products, goods,
works, services by the regional organizations amounted to 10.5%. The
profit from sales reached Br504 million and increased by 7% compared to
the indicator of January-March last year. Net profit increased 6.1-fold
to Br320.4 million.
The volume of gross regional product in the Minsk region for the
first quarter totaled Br3 billion. Its growth rate by the same period
of 2016 reached 108.9% with a target of 100.9%.
