Over 1.9 thousand orphans from the Minsk region will receive free
vouchers to health camps, BelTA learned from the Minsk Regional Office
of the Republican Center for Recovery and Sanatorium Treatment of the
Population.
"As a matter of priority, 40 orphans and 290 children with
disabilities, children from low-income, large families, incomplete
families will be provided with health camp vouchers," the Education
Department of the Minsk Regional Executive Committee was also instructed
to ensure the purchase of 40 vouchers for health camps Orphans -
students of institutions of vocational and specialized secondary
education and 172 permits to orphans of boarding schools and children's
homes of regional subordination. "
This year, together with parents in the stationary camps
"Brodovka" (Borisov district), "Ivolga" (Molodechno district),
"Zhuravushka" (Soligorsk district, "Friendship" (Dzerzhinsky district),
and a children's rehabilitation and wellness center "Nadezhda" (Vileika
district) will improve 39 children with disabilities.
According to experts, during the summer period, 13 camps are
planned to operate in the region with day and round-the-clock forms of
children's stay at the centers of correctional development and
rehabilitation, in which 165 children with disabilities will be
rehabilitated. It is also planned to improve the health of children of
this category in the stationary camps of Borisov, Lubansky,
Starodorozhsky, Chervensky districts and the city of Zhodino.
The issue of timely and high-quality preparation of all
health-improving camps for the start of work in accordance with sanitary
and hygienic standards, safety and fire safety requirements, and
strengthening of the material and technical base is of particular
urgency. In a number of districts, almost 100 percent of the camps are
ready for work, repair works are completed or completed, equipment and
inventory are purchased. Also, by the beginning of the health campaign,
recruitment was provided, their studies were conducted, and educational
and health work was planned. All recreational camps in the region are
provided with the necessary methodological recommendations on the health
improvement of schoolchildren.
In the Minsk region in the summer, 26 certified in-patient
health camps will operate with a 24-hour stay for 4 thousand people. In
each region, the work of sports camps, camps by profiles, areas of
activity (with a linguistic bias, tourist-local lore, art, for highly
motivated children) will be organized. There will also be at least 150
camps using tents. In addition, the students of the region will be
bettered in military-patriotic and defense-sports camps, including on
the basis of military units.
As noted in the office, during the summer vacation in the Minsk
region, it is planned to organize the work of 123 labor and rest camps
(99 day and 24 hours a day), in which 1,800 students will be recovered.
The main activities here will be weeding, caring for forest plantations,
picking berries and vegetables, landscaping, etc.
The average price of vouchers to the camps with a round-the-clock stay of the Minsk region will be Br335.
As it was previously reported, in the summer of this year in the Minsk
region, more than 53.6 thousand children are to be rehabilitated, of
them more than 21.8 thousand children in camps with round-the-clock stay
and 31.8 thousand children in daytime camps Stay.
