Ratomka invites June 17 to a non-standard track-and-field race

Republican athletics competitions "Ratomka-trail" will be held June 17 in the settlement of Ratomka (Minsk region) on the basis of the RCOP of equestrian sport and horse breeding, BelTA learned from the Sports and Tourism Department of the Minsk Regional Executive Committee. "Ratomka-trail" - non-standard competitions, the program of which provides for a race on rough terrain and partly along the sandy ground at a distance of 9 km with the overcoming of 56 obstacles. To participate in them are allowed all those who are interested in the age of 15 years and older, registered in the established order and paid the application fee. The regulation determines that the struggle for primacy will be conducted in the age groups for men and women: 15-30 years and 31 years and older. The results of the participants of the races will be recorded by an electronic timekeeping system. Applications for participation in the competition can be submitted in electronic form to the website of the Belarusian Athletics Federation on June 15. It is planned that on the day of the race women will start at 12.00, men at 13.30. Each of the runners at the finish will receive a commemorative medal, and also be able to print a certificate of participation according to the final results of the competition protocols. The first three absolute winners in the race for men and women will be awarded with cash prizes and original cakes. Memorable prizes are awarded to winners in age groups. In addition to active recreation and competitive adrenaline, those wishing to take advantage of bonuses in the form of horseback riding, sauna, cafe, hotel complex. As noted in the management, the competitions are held in order to promote a healthy lifestyle, popularize the race as a means of active recreation and health promotion. The organizers of the "Ratomka-trail" race are the Ministry of Sport and Tourism of Belarus, the Sports and Tourism Department of the Minsk Regional Executive Committee, the National Olympic Committee in the Minsk region and the Belarusian Athletics Federation.
