In the Minsk region, control over the condition of the ventilation ducts of buildings was strengthened, said the head of the Minsk regional department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations Maksim Shishkanov today at a meeting of the Minsk Oblast Executive Committee, where issues of readiness of the national economic complex of the central region to work in the autumn-winter period were considered,
"In the course of monitoring the readiness of the region's facilities for the autumn-winter period, considerable attention was paid to the ventilation channels." In the recent past, due to their condition, certain problems were fixed.In addition, the tragic event involving the death of people occurred in Borisov, said Maksim Shishkanov, "The Ministry of Emergency Situations together with the representatives of municipal services are continuing to monitor the readiness of the ventilation ducts." Many problems have already been resolved. "A decision has been taken to additionally fund the works to bring the quietly constructive elements into a safe state in the entire area's housing stock. "
The head of the Minsk regional department of the Ministry of Emergencies stated that most of the objects in the central region are ready for winter. "Much attention during the monitoring was given to the issues of heating network replacement, as well as the readiness of the boiler houses." At present, the work has been practically completed in all districts. "Individual shortcomings that have been fixed are being eliminated," Maxim Shishkanov informed. The most important role in preventing accidents in the boiler house belongs to the service personnel. "Many boilers have been modernized, new boilers have been installed, but even this is not a panacea for emergency situations, mainly due to illiterate actions of workers." We have paid considerable attention to this issue. "The reserves of work improvement remain," he added.
To repair emergencies on heat supply and heating networks in the Minsk region, emergency repair teams have been established, there are three mobile block-modular boiler houses (in Minsk and Molodechno districts with a capacity of 1.3 MW, in Dzerzhinsky district - 1.19 MW) .
Gore and district executive committees set up commissions for coordinating preparatory and repair work, creating the necessary fuel reserves for operation of facilities in the autumn-winter period. In the housing fund, the works on preventive repair, pressure testing and hydropneumatic flushing of heating systems, heating stations, as well as repair of joints of wall panels, repair of furnaces, boilers in houses, water-elevating installations, checking of water meters and heat energy are performed in full.
According to the regional department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, about 95% of road machinery, which will be involved in the maintenance of streets, is already ready for winter.
