Violations testify not only to the shortcomings in the operation of the fire management systems of organizations, but also to the lack of control over the management of business entities over the quality of maintenance of such systems. The ways of solving the problem are worked out jointly by the bodies of the Ministry of Emergency Measures and the Prosecutor's Office. Maxim Shishkanov stated that in the central region there is a stable tendency to reduce the number of deaths of people in fires. According to the latest data, in 2017, 89 people were killed. At the same time, the rate of reduction in the number of fatalities in fires in the Minsk region is twice that of republican ones.
