The Minsk region is interested in fruitful cooperation with all regions of Russia in various areas. This was stated by the Chairman of the Minsk Oblast Executive Committee Anatoly Isachenko today at a meeting with representatives of Russian media, BelTA has learned.
"Russia is an important trade and economic partner of the capital region, with about 45% of exports coming from the Russian Federation, about $ 1.3 billion worth of products delivered in eight months." He informed that the region's share in the country's GDP is about 16%. The region produces 19% of industrial and 25% of agricultural products of the republic. Answering a question about how the system of handling solid municipal waste is organized in the region, Anatoly Isachenko told about plans to build three garbage processing plants in 2018. He noted the high interest of investors in such projects. Foreign companies are also ready to invest in agriculture, scientific and technical developments, industry.
