Belarusian giant truck maker BelAZ reports skyrocketing export figures

In 2017 the Belarusian automobile engineering company BelAZ secured an export growth rate of 184.8% as against 2016. In money terms the volume of export rose by $349 million, BelTA learned from the BelAZ website.
According to the source, BelAZ's positions on CIS and non-CIS markets grow stronger every year. The export geography grows larger. The company increases the output, improves the quality and reliability of its trucks.
The growth rate of industrial output in effective prices totaled 187.2% as against 2016. Vehicle production increased by 389 units to 913. In 2017 BelAZ made 621 haul trucks with an exceedingly large carrying capacity (90 tonnes and more). It was a record high figure in the history of the enterprise.
In 2017 BelAZ's net profit increased by 14.5 times. Foreign accounts receivable dropped by 24.7% in January-November 2017 or by Br173.4 million. Last year's growth rate of investments is expected to reach 140.7% as against 2016. A large-scale project to deploy high-performance machine tools to paint haul truck components on par with the world's best continues in one of the company's manufacturing divisions.
In 2017 the number of BelAZ employees rose by 875 people. The average monthly salary rose by 40% in 2017 to Br1,217.

BelAZ is the world's top manufacturer of haul trucks with a large carrying capacity and an extremely large carrying capacity as well as other heavy transport equipment used in the mining industry and the civil engineering industry.
