Measures to curb offenses in the sphere of arms trafficking were held in the Minsk region from 19 to 23 March. During this time, 72 weapons were seized. 36 people were brought to responsibility.
In the administration of law enforcement and prevention of the Department of Internal Affairs, the Minsk Oblast Executive Committee was reminded that for illegal trafficking in weapons, ammunition, explosive devices and explosives, criminal responsibility was established with imprisonment for up to twelve years. Those who voluntarily surrender illegally stored weapons, ammunition and explosives are exempted from criminal and administrative responsibility.
