One of the village executive committees of the Minsk region revealed violations of the legislation when citizens are registered for the need of improving housing conditions, BelTA learned from the senior prosecutor of the Minsk region prosecutor's office Kirill Artsimena.
In violation of the requirements in the village executive committee, citizens were registered on the basis of fixed-term contracts for hiring a private housing fund, not as at the place of residence but as in the place of residence, thereby illegally determining their status as permanent residents of the village council. In the future, this was the basis for the registration of people in need of better housing conditions.
The village executive committee did not take measures to update the data, which serve as the basis for setting citizens on this account. As a result, those who lost this status were considered needy. There were cases when the village executive committee ignored the citizens' statements on housing rights, improper registration of housing legal relations.
The facts of improper control over the targeted use of land plots granted for the construction and maintenance of residential buildings, which entailed their prolonged disrepair, were revealed.
To eliminate violations of the legislation, a presentation was made to the chairman of the Minsk district executive committee.
