The International Scientific and Technical Conference "Roads: Safety and Reliability", dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the Belarusian road science, will be held on November 22-23 in Minsk. The conference is scheduled to address pressing issues in the field of construction, repair and maintenance of highways and artificial structures, road safety, intelligent transport systems. The work will be organized in three sections: "Road Safety", "Intelligent Transport Systems", "Repair and maintenance of highways."
The most important topics of discussion will be ways and methods of reducing the number of accidents, new types of road traffic management tools, measures to reduce accidents in places where accidents are concentrated, technologies to improve traffic and increase road safety, modern technologies to improve the operational reliability of roads. / p>
It is planned that more than 150 representatives of the Ministry of Transport and Communications, organizations of the road sector, university and academic science of Belarus, as well as guests from Austria, Bulgaria, Germany, Spain, Italy, Kazakhstan, China, Latvia, Lithuania will take part in the conference. , Poland, Russia, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, Finland, Estonia.
According to Ekaterina Grib, the main priorities of the road sector in Belarus are the improvement of the transport and operational condition of public roads and the improvement of their quality indicators.
