Botanical Garden invites to the festival-competition of ice and snow sculptures

The Central Botanical Garden of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus (CBS) invites you to attend the fifth festival of ice and snow sculptures "The World of Crystals in the Botanical Garden" on January 23-26, BelTA learned at the CBS. "Visitors will be able to see and appreciate the mastery of the best sculptors, they will witness when ice crystals turn into works of snow and ice art," noted the Central Library System. an unusual charge of cheerfulness, emotional, aesthetic pleasure and good mood. " The event will be attended by 9 teams of professional sculptors and 9 student teams of relevant faculties of public educational institutions. The opening ceremony of the fifth festival-competition will be held on January 26 at 14.30. This day will hold a solemn presentation of ice sculptures to the public and summing up the festival-competition. Also, visitors will enjoy a gala concert with the participation of the group "Without a ticket", an entertaining quiz, competitions with a prize draw and a musical pyrotechnic show. Admire the sculptures created from ice crystals until February 3. The sculptures will equip the backlight, so they will be especially beautiful in the evening, told in the botanical garden. For the period of the festival, the botanical garden will be extended: on weekends, the central entrance ticket office will be open until 18.30, the exhibition greenhouse - until 19.00, on weekdays - until 18.00 and 18.30, respectively.
