State traffic inspectorate will strengthen control over village roads of Minsk region on January 26-27

25.01.2019

On Saturday and Sunday, January 26 and 27, the State Traffic Inspectorate will conduct a massive development of routes passing through the regional centers of the Minsk region, and the country roads and village roads will be under the watchful control of the traffic police of the region. BelTA was informed about this by the OGAI MVD. GAI will pay special attention to curbing the fact of speeding, traffic violations by pedestrians and cyclists, the rules for transporting passengers (especially children), as well as identifying drunk drivers and law-breakers. "Provision is made for the movement of traffic police at the places characterized by the highest probability of committing traffic violations and at the concentration sites of traffic accidents. In addition, the special unit of traffic police Strela will take an active part in raid events", - informed in UHAI. / p> Traffic police urges drivers not to forget about winter driving style: choose a safe speed, taking into account the state of the roadway and visibility, keep a safe distance and observe the lateral interval, avoid erratic rebuilding and abrupt maneuvers. The traffic police remind you that everyone should wear a seatbelt. Drivers are recommended to plan their route taking into account possible congestion situations, to leave in advance, given that travel time in difficult weather conditions increases. On Friday, January 25, the State Traffic Inspectorate spends across the country the United Road Safety Day under the motto “Together for Safety on the Roads!”, dedicated to promoting the observance of traffic rules by all road users. Over the past day in the country there were 426 accidents with material damage. 8 accidents were committed, in which 9 people were injured.
