Four health facilities included in the investment program of Minsk will be commissioned this year, Nikolai Skovorodko, deputy chairman of the Minsk city executive committee’s health committee, told BelTA. "The Minsk investment program for 2019 includes 26 construction and reconstruction facilities, the allocated amount of funding is Br86.8 million. By the end of this year, four investment program facilities are planned to be commissioned," Nikolai Skovorodko said. Syrokomli, the hospital building of the palliative care "Hospice" on Ave. Guerrilla, 73a and the medical building (block A) of the City Children's Infectious Clinical Hospital. Modernization of the latter is carried out in stages over several years. In April 2015, a clinical diagnostic building with a reception, resuscitation department, hyperbaric oxygenation, immunological and sterilization department were put into operation in the hospital. It also opened a laboratory service and a pharmacy. In May 2017, a new medical building with 240 beds with double wards and an MRI room was introduced. "After the renovation of the medical building carried out this year, an advisory department will be located on the first floor of the renovated building, including for receiving outpatient patients," Nikolai Skovorodko added. As for the ambulance substation, already 11th in Minsk, its appearance will increase the efficiency of providing emergency medical care to residents of nearby microdistricts, including by updating the fleet with modern equipment. In 2019, design work will also continue on the construction of a new children's clinic for 480 visits per shift in the residential districts of Sukharevo-3 (Frunzensky District) and the 9th children's clinic on the site at the old address - ul. Dolgobrodskaya, 39 (Guerrilla district).
