The ceremony of awarding the winners of the regional contest "Woman of the Year of the Minsk oblast - 2018" was held today at the Palace of Culture in Molodechno, BelTA has learned.
As the chairman of the Minsk regional organization of the Belarusian Union of Women Svetlana Soroka, Metropolitan area is rich in bright talented women who realize themselves as mothers than professionals, managers, and are active participants in the women's movement and other social organizations. She said that the regional competition was held within the framework of the republican contest "Woman of the Year of Belarus - 2018".
Nominee for victory began 28 candidates from regions of the Minsk region, who devoted his life to medicine, science, education, agriculture, social and cultural activities. They are all different, but each - held personality.
The winners were honored in five categories.
