About 30 sports grounds opened in the Minsk region in 2018

In 2018, in the Minsk Region, 27 sports fields were built and landscaped, BelTA learned from the Main Sports and Tourism Directorate of the Minsk Regional Executive Committee.
In particular, three beach volleyball courts were built in Myadel, a synthetic cover was laid on the treadmill and the stadium was landscaped. Artificial grass mini-football fields appeared in Zhodino and Nesvizh, hockey box in Lyuban. 18 workout platforms were installed in Soligorsk, Nesvizh, Vileika and Krupsky districts, two sites with anti-vandal training simulators opened in Molodechno.
Also in the region are annually renovated existing sports facilities. Last year, about Br1.8 million were allocated from the regional budget to repair institutions of physical culture and sports. Works were organized in 21 organizations. Thus, the overhaul of the hockey box was held in Krupki, the boxing hall and gym were repaired in the Borisov branch of the Pleschenitsy State Regional High School - Olympic Reserve School. Roller tracks in Kopyl and in the urban settlement Pleschenitsy are asphalted, changing rooms in the Kletsk fitness center are repaired. In Old Roads, a major overhaul of the wrestling hall started, in Borisov they began to design a training ice arena.
As of January 1 of the current year, in the Minsk region there are more than 2.9 thousand physical culture and sports facilities of all forms of ownership, including 16 stadiums, 643 sports halls, 785 plane facilities, 146 swimming pools.
