The road map for the development of cooperation between the Minsk region and the Czech region Vysoczina for 2019-2020 was signed today in Soligorsk by the chairman of the Minsk Regional Executive Committee Anatoly Isachenko and the hetman of the Vysočina region Jiri Behounek, BelTA has learned
Anatoly Isachenko noted the warm relations that have developed between the edge of Vysochin and the Minsk region. In 2014, a memorandum of cooperation was signed. After the visit of the regional delegation to the Vysočina region in the autumn of 2018, a business forum was held, which contributed to the strengthening of trade and economic cooperation between the regions. In 2018, the trade turnover between the Minsk region and the Czech Republic amounted to $ 87 million, which is 66% more compared to 2017 (it was $ 52 million). "These figures speak about the positive dynamics of our cooperation. We are interested in increasing the export of Belarusian goods to the Czech market, we see a reserve and wide opportunities. In turn, the Minsk region is ready to offer the Czech Republic investment cooperation in the food industry, agriculture, transport, logistics, woodworking ", - said Anatoly Isachenko.
This is not the first visit of the Czech delegation headed by the hetman to the Minsk region. For example, the guests met Soligorsk last February, when they visited Belaruskali. Even today, it is no coincidence that the city was chosen as a platform for a meeting: it is planned to sign an agreement on cooperation between Soligorsk and the city of Pelhrimov.
As the Governor of the capital region noted, relations in the field of emergency situations are being strengthened. "During the visit of the delegation of the Minsk region to the Czech Republic, our specialists were able to familiarize themselves with the work of the emergency services and the response system, and also studied the peculiarities of the anti-crisis center in Vysočina. cooperation in established areas and establish close cooperation in the field of tourism, organizing, for example, mutual study tours for tourist regional agencies, "he added.
In turn, Jiri Behounek stressed: the delegation arrived in the Minsk region with the aim to take certain steps to develop cooperation. “We visited school №6 of Soligorsk, we were inspired by the emergency room. The delegation includes the head of all voluntary firemen of the Czech Republic, and he said he was impressed with the rescue training technique on ice, which was shown at the school. “We’ll do something similar. In general, I believe that the relations between the Vysocina region and the Minsk region will continue to develop rapidly. We would like all the regions of the Czech Republic and Belarus to cooperate with each other," said Jiri Behounek.
The delegation of the Vysocina region is in the Minsk region on May 15-17. During the visit, she will visit the Soligorsk polyclinic No. 2, the Slutsk Belts Unitary Enterprise, the Planet of Childhood kindergarten and other facilities.
