Minsk and Beijing plan to hold joint professional skill contests

05.07.2019

Minsk and Beijing are planning to organize joint competitions of professional skill. The chairman of the Minsk city union of organizations of trade unions, Nikolay Belanovsky, told reporters after a meeting with a delegation of the Beijing Federation of Trade Unions in the town hall, BelTA has learned.
"Both in Beijing and in our country there are contests of professional skill. Both parties are interested in the level of our specialists and workers meeting the requirements of the time. We agreed to consider the list of our professions with the expectation that in the future we will hold contests to find the best. to hold joint professional skill contests, we will be able to exchange delegations of representatives of labor collectives ", said Nikolay Belanovsky.
Also useful for the Belarusian side is the experience of China on the pre-trial settlement of conflicts. "Private companies based on the trade union federation of Beijing have created standing commissions. They include representatives of the employers' union, the government and the trade union. Any enterprise can turn to them to resolve a conflict situation between the employee and the employer, between the union and the employer. These commissions have the right decisive voice, the parties are forced to obey their decision. This is a pre-trial settlement of the conflict, and this is necessary for us, "the chairman of the trade union association said.
In turn, the head of the Audit Committee on the use of union dues of the Beijing Federation of Trade Unions, Si Jian, expressed hope for the development of interaction. "We hope to deepen cooperation between our trade unions in such areas as the exchange of workers' delegations, delegations of trade union personnel. We also hope for the continuation of friendly relations not only between trade unions, but also cities and countries," he stressed.
The first cooperation agreement between the trade unions of Minsk and Beijing was signed in 2014. The structure of the new memorandum is being developed, which will be signed in the capital of China in 2020.
