Celebrations for the Day of Fire Service in Minsk will be held on July 20, BelTA learned from the Emergencies Ministry of Belarus.
Holiday guests expect a parade and exhibition of fire rescue equipment, a concert and fireworks, water extravaganza and a demonstration of the work of aviation EMERCOM. "Children and adults will be able to spend time with benefit, test their dexterity and feel like lifeguards, try on combat clothing. At all game locations you can not only get a lot of useful information, but also earn special tokens that can be exchanged for prizes and souvenirs", - told in the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
Entertaining kids will be bright life-size puppets, with which you can be photographed as a souvenir. It will not do without public favorites - Labradors from the cynological service of the Republican Special Forces Ministry of Emergency Situations. You can eat at one of the four field kitchens.
The celebration will begin July 20 at 11.00. The main events will be held in the Central Children's Park named after Maxim Gorky.
The Minsk City Duma and the provincial government on July 25, 1853 considered the issue "On the establishment of the fire brigade in Minsk," approved the cost estimate for the maintenance of the fire brigade consisting of 51 people. This day was adopted as the beginning of the creation of the fire service in Belarus and is celebrated as the Day of the Fire Service.
