Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Syrian Arab Republic Yuri Sluka met with Syria's Minister of Social Affairs and Labor Mohamed Seif El-Din on 26 March, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The parties noted that bilateral cooperation has great potential, however it is necessary to intensify interaction between the ministries of the two countries. The parties also discussed recreation and recuperation programs for Syrian children in the Republic of Belarus in 2023.
Mohamed Seif El-Din expressed his appreciation for the initiative to invite Syrian children to Belarus and thanked the Belarusian side for expanding this program. Yuri Sluka reaffirmed Belarus' interest in deepening cooperation with Syria and continuing joint humanitarian projects.
