The relevant document on implementing the investment project was signed at the regional forum Bryansk-Gomel, which took place in the Russian city of Bryansk on 13 October, BelTA has learned.
The document was signed by Bryansk Oblast Vice Governor Nikolai Luchkin and Acting Director General of AO Bryanskselmash Andrei Shilin.
The Bryanskselmash CEO noted that Russian farmers had to import such harvesters in the past. “The project will be launched to get a complete analog of imported machines,” he clarified.
Bryanskselmash specialists will work on the new model, including together with Gomselmash specialists. “It is a single people's product, a single people's project,” Andrei Shilin added.
The first research plot harvester is supposed to begin field trials at the end of 2024.
The regional forum Bryansk-Gomel is the second one on record. The first one took place in Gomel in 2022. This year's Gomel Oblast delegation included heads of enterprises of virtually all the industries. The sides discussed mutually beneficial avenues of cooperation. The organizers are convinced that the forum will give an opportunity to coordinate import and export flows of Gomel Oblast companies and Bryansk Oblast companies and work out business solutions appropriate for the new reality.
