Within the framework of the state program «Digital Development of Belarus», the company «Beltelecom» together with the Ministry of Communications and Informatization successfully implements the project «My City». In 2024, the mobile application of the same name increased by 25 cities involved in the project, as a result, 68 large settlements of the country were covered.

On the last day of 2024, Kopyl joined the application, becoming the 13th city in the Minsk region. Having started its work with Polotsk in 2021, the My City project is actively developing and rapidly gaining popularity, opening up new prospects for interaction with the urban environment.

The kopyll is in plain sight
As Viktor Zhurid, Head of the Kopyl Telecommunications Section of Beltelecom, explained, the My City mobile application was created so that every person has a simple and accessible channel of communication with the urban environment — government agencies, business, healthcare, education, culture and services. For ease of use, the application contains information about enterprises and organizations, which is divided into the following categories: city administration, health and sports, education, recreation and tourism, transport, catering, trade, utilities and others. Thanks to the My City application, people’s interaction with the city infrastructure becomes easy and enjoyable. The user gets access to information, services and service from a single system.

— You open the mobile application and see the city at a glance. Ordering a product, its delivery or service and paying for it, booking a hotel room — all this can be done very easily in real time. With the help of the My City application, you don’t have to generate dozens of search queries on the Internet. It is much more convenient to see everything in one software product. This is a big plus for city residents, — noted Viktor Zhurid. — The application also has a feed where top news is posted. Residents can quickly find out about upcoming city celebrations, water utility warnings and much more. By the way, using all the capabilities of the application, you can conduct surveys of city residents. This is valuable feedback for the further development of the city.
