In Kopylshchyna, BRSM activists joined in the forest planting
In Kopyl forestry, BRSM activists, the Belaya Rus public organization and specialists from the Kopyl experimental forestry planted alder and birch forest crops on an area of 2.4 hectares.
The youth were happy to take part in such a responsible and unusual event. They got to know the profession and hard work of foresters better, and some of the guys even thought about choosing a future profession. Such events make it possible to understand the need for each person to contribute to the creation of forests for future generations. And also to make their small contribution to the development of our country, its improvement, beauty and preservation of natural resources.
Margarita Makarenko, a member of the Youth Parliament at the Kopyl District Council of Deputies, shared her impressions:
«I really enjoyed taking part in such a significant event. In this way, we preserve nature and its beauty. After all, forests are one of the main treasures of our country, and we, the youth, must preserve it as a unique part of Belarus. It is especially gratifying that we created a part of the future forest in the year of the 80th anniversary of the Victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War.»
