The republican action «Together — for a strong and healthy family», timed to the Family Day, will start in Belarus on May 12 and last until May 17. This was reported in the press service of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection.
Action events will cover all regions of the country and will include educational, cultural, sports and social initiatives.
Yes, among the republican events, the press conference «Belarus — for a healthy family!» in the National Press Center with the participation of large families. It will be held on May 12 and will start the campaign.
On May 13, the international forum «The family is the basis of the demographic potential of the state» and a single day of consultation on family issues will be held. And on May 15, the finals of the competition of young military families «Family is the crystal of society» and the photo challenge «Family is...» will be held. In the Central Children’s Park named after Gorky in Minsk on May 17 will be a republican family holiday with concerts and activities.
Activities will also take place in the regions. This is the celebration of golden and silver anniversaries of family life, the «Family at the Start» sports park for families with disabled children, exhibitions of creative works «Mother, grandmother and I — a handmade family», open days in museums for large families.
Lessons on family values and essay contests will be held in schools. In universities — youth forums about the modern family, and in polyclinics — consultations on reproductive health.
Public organizations will also present their initiatives. This is the «Papa-Zal» project for strengthening the father’s role in the family, the festival of large families and the «Master of the Village» competition, religious forums in support of traditional family values.
Special attention will be paid to the support of large families and families with disabled children. Free legal consultations and charity events will be held as part of the campaign.
The events are organized with the participation of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection, local executive bodies and public associations.
