The preventive action is designed to attract all those interested in the problem of ensuring children's safety, to increase the level of responsibility of parents and drivers. For this purpose, on the days of the events, vehicles must move during daylight hours with low beam headlights or daytime running lights on.
A number of preventive measures are planned for children and adolescents. Particular attention will be focused on conducting explanatory work with adults.
In connection with the mass transportation of children to recreation areas, it is extremely important to ensure the safety of young passengers by using child restraints.
On average, 60% of minors are injured in road accidents from May to September, most of them are in the summer, when children are left without adult supervision.
