Order on the native land

07.07.2025

A large-scale district clean-up day, which took place in Kopyl region last Saturday, united the efforts of employees of organizations, educational institutions, village councils, utility workers and simply caring residents of the region. The event became part of the general work to restore order and create a comfortable environment.

The first to contribute to the common cause were members of the RO OO «BRSM», the Youth Parliament under the Kopyl District Council of Deputies and young representatives of the Kopyl Housing and Utilities Department. As part of the Youth and Student Marathon, the action of the state association of housing and utilities of the Minsk region «Blossom, native Minsk region: your contribution is important», they improved the «Dry Stream» park: they were engaged in painting small architectural forms, removing weeds and weeding flower beds, planting spherical thujas, willows and hostas.

The employees of Semezhevskaya, Lesnovskaya Bystritskaya secondary schools, as well as kindergartens, the preschool child development center «Solnyshko» and secondary school No. 3 in Kopyl, cleaned and tidied up their territories as part of the district clean-up day. They cleared the territories of educational institutions of weeds, weeded flower beds, painted small architectural forms, improved the stadium and much more.

— To love the place where you live and work means to try to make it better. It is not difficult to clean up, because the result not only pleases the eye, but also reflects our desire to see the territory adjacent to educational institutions cozy, beautiful and well-groomed, — the teachers noted.

The employees of the editorial office of the district newspaper «Slava Pratsy» were happy to join in the useful work, having tidied up the flower beds and green spaces on the territory of the institution. Specialists from the Kopyl Territorial Social Services Center planted hydrangea bushes, cut lavender, and began laying out a new flower bed on the institution’s territory.

Of course, in the year of the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory, the district residents paid special attention to places associated with history and military glory, military burials. Representatives from the Staritskaya, Slobodokuchinskaya schools, Secondary School No. 2 in Kopyl, and the Blevchitsky village executive committee actively worked here.

«It is no coincidence that we work in such memorable places: this is a reminder to all those living today of the price at which freedom and independence of our country were achieved during the Great Patriotic War. This must not be forgotten,» the participants in the cleanup are sure.

The employees of local organizations and enterprises, including representatives of the Sloboda-Kuchinsky, Timkovichsky, Buchatinsky, Bobovnyansky, Grozovsky village executive committees, worked together: they put their territories and those adjacent to them in order.
