Kopyl District Police Officer Eduard Shashkin informed the target group of residents about their presence. Vitaly Kazhuro, Head of the Kopyl District Police Department, held an explanatory talk with them about the unacceptability of domestic violence and provided detailed information on the administrative and criminal penalties for such offenses. He also reminded those registered with the Fire Department of the need to strictly adhere to all applicable requirements.
On the topic of alcohol addiction prevention, psychiatrist and narcologist Alexander Gaidel held a group discussion with the assembled citizens about the dangers of alcohol and its devastating effects on the human body.
Regarding fire safety, Dmitry Makarevich, Head of the Logistics and Technical Support Service of the Kopyl District Department of Emergency Situations, presented information on fire safety compliance in homes. He emphasized citizens’ responsibilities to install autonomous smoke alarms in their homes.
The meeting had a comprehensive preventive focus. Representatives from law enforcement, healthcare, and the Ministry of Emergency Situations worked together with at-risk citizens, explaining the legal, medical, and everyday consequences of antisocial behavior. The focus was on preventing crime, domestic violence, and emergencies.
