Educational establishments of the Minsk oblast have acquired 28 school buses for schools in rural areas, BelTA learnt from the education department of the Minsk oblast executive committee.
More than Br2.3 billion was used to finance the purchases. Four buses went to the Borisov region. The Molodechno, Vileika, Krupki, Uzda and Soligorsk regions got two buses each.
The department notes that the Minsk oblast has been paying much attention to providing schools with computers. Since the beginning of the years 46 computer classrooms have been set up. Another 56 additional PCs have been purchased. More than Br1.3 was allocated for these purposes.
Over 6,400 units of school furniture have been acquired to the tune of br600 million. Br500 million was allotted to finance the purchasing of 1,000 units of training equipment.
