This year, the Minsk oblast harvested 2 million tonnes of grain for the first time, Chairman of the Minsk Oblast Executive Committee Leonid Krupets told reporters on August 19.
According to him, this record is expected to be increased as of today the oblast has harvested only 85% of the total area under the crop. The Slutsk, Kopyl, Minsk and Nesvizh regions have the highest performances.
“Introduction of new technologies into the work of agricultural companies will allow the Minsk oblast to increase this record,” Leonid Krupets is sure.
